Professional Chef and Teacher, Kristen Phillips, of A Family Kitchen, offers this fun and creative cooking class for the young chef!  Chef Kristen has taught kids how to cook in her popular after-school programs throughout Montgomery County for the past 15 years and is excited to bring her cooking program to KP.  Kids will learn cooking and baking skills, including knife skills, kitchen safety, measuring and math, explore new foods, and create delicious recipes in every class!  All students will enjoy cooking and tasting new recipes each week and receive a cookbook of all the recipes at the end of the program.  In this 7-week program, students will gain valuable cooking skills while having lots of fun.  This Spring, students will make fabulous recipes, including fruit smoothies, hummus and veggie wraps, banana chocolate chip muffins, colorful rainbow salads, fruit and yogurt sundaes with homemade granola, strawberry shortcake, and M&M sugar cookies.  Does your child like to help out in the kitchen and try new foods?  Look no further!  Join today and let’s get cooking!  All equipment and supplies are provided.
Adding this activity will only add your student the wait list. Should space become available, you will need to register for the activity at that time.
